SMASH TRACK DRIFTERS

I worked on the updated version of the game. Unfortunately, the update has yet to be released but you can see the work I did on the garage, physics and networking on the Steam page community updates.

During this project, I have worked on the following:

– I developed a car customisation system that allows for cars to be purchased, parts switched out, painted, and more in return for an in-game currency.

– The custom cars are saved and loaded dynamically from an encrypted folder.

– The race track and custom car can be selected before starting a race. It will then proceed to load the appropriate track and car with all of the modifications that have been made.

– Worked alongside artists and musicians in importing their work and ensuring they are set up and functioning as expected. 

– Various bug fixing throughout the project such as fixing the cars’ damage script, tweaking, handling, or improving the UI on a level.

– Worked alongside other developers on networking, using Photon.
